We are going to keep the two heritage buildings on the site and transform those for a new use.

 

The Millennium Mills Building

We will turn the Millennium Mills building into a mix of uses. The lower floors of the building will be converted into a Biodome attraction, with the floors being transformed into an information and learning centre. The Biodome attraction will be similar to the Eden Project in Cornwall but as it is in London it will have more visitors and provide a big investment into the area.

 

As well as the Biodome attraction a new food attraction will be created, an indoor street food market. This idea has been created in other cities, such as Copenhagen, but this will vary from the majority of markets in London. The Mill will be home to street food trucks which will provide food from a range of different cultures.

 

The higher floors will be created into more space for the bio-hub area and a skills workshop for locals and shared working space for start-ups.
