The eastern side of the site, is allocated for our residential zone. The whole site will be flats with the buildings being two to six storeys, with the smaller buildings being in the northeast of the site.

The residental will be flats that range from two bed to four bed.

 

The layout of the buildings inspired by the Dutch development at Ijburg. This is due to us liking the idea of having green space within the blocks for residents to use and helps to create a community feel around the site.

 

Towards the centre of the site around Plaza 4 and the eastern entrance, the building will be a mix of residential, commercial, and community facilities. Which means residents can access local amenities easily.

 

How this meets our Design Actions?

This helps us to achieve our mixed-use design actions, as we can provide a place to live for many people as well as jobs around the site if it is at the biotech hub or in the commercial zone.
